Faculties, departments or teams can log a call with their requirements for a Windows SharePoint Services site at IT Helpdesk or email their requirement to Bernard Heesen.
Determine requirements / demo
To determine whether Windows SharePoint Services is the correct solution for you, IT will discuss and demonstrate the functionalities to the keyplayers in your environment.
Training & Site Creation
If the product suits your requirements, IT will train the appointed site owners and assist them with the initial site planning, creation and granting of permissions. If required, IT will also demonstrate the product to the rest of the staff in the specific environment and assist them to utilise the product effectively.
Thereafter remote assistance via VNC will be given until such time the site owners are capable of administering their sites by themselves. Thereafter on an as and when required basis.
